Features
Orion Electric, considered to have the most advanced technology in the field
of PDP in Korea, succeeded in developing a wide 42″PDP for a wall-mounted
TV in the aspect ratio of 16 to 9 in October 1997. For mass production of
this product, Orion Electric invested the amount of ninety-eight billion Korean
won till the first half of 1998, therefore, was equipped with the PDP production
line with a monthly capacity of 3,000 units in its Kumi Plant, and then completed
the pilot production of PDP successfully. Just now Orion Electric started
commercial production of PDP.
